Director Phil Aceto adapted his feature-length script, The Gloaming, into the short film Open House, using key dramatic elements to explore tone, mood, and pacing. As producer, I managed cast/crew schedules, craft services, location permits, on-set media management, and safety. As editor, I collaborated with Aceto to realize his vision and experiment with dramatic structure, informing the feature project. Open House garnered recognition as a Jury Prize nominee at the Vancouver International Film Festival, a Festival Prize nominee at the Big Apple Film Festival, and an official selection at shortoftheweek.com. Filmthreat.com praised Aceto's storytelling, stating, 'Aceto does a brilliant job just telling the story.'"
