93rd Bomb Group Association
a non-profit 501(c)(3)
The 93rd Bomb Group Association (93rd BGA) is a nonprofit, volunteer-led legacy organization dedicated to preserving the history of the U.S. Army Air Forces’ 93rd Bomb Group, a B-24 unit that served with distinction during World War II. The Association connects veterans, descendants, historians, and community members through annual national conventions, historical programming, archival initiatives, and educational outreach. With members located across the country, the organization relies heavily on digital access to share its events, presentations, and historical content.
Since 2013, I have served as the Association’s Director of Technology, overseeing all technical infrastructure, audiovisual systems, and digital workflows that support its annual conventions. Each year, I design and build a complete temporary broadcast environment inside a new convention venue—managing signal flow, integrating Blackmagic and Mevo camera systems, configuring NDI routing, setting up audio and lighting, deploying networking equipment, and ensuring stable streaming connections. This work allows the Association to provide live and archived access to its programming for members who cannot attend in person.
I produce and direct the multi-camera livestream for the full duration of each convention, coordinating with facility staff, managing a small on-site crew, operating cameras and switching systems, creating graphic overlays, and troubleshooting technical issues in real time. My annual goal is to deliver a reliable, broadcast-quality viewing experience that preserves the stories, ceremonies, and historical presentations that define the 93rd BGA’s mission. The images and videos on this page document the behind-the-scenes work—from equipment setup to directing live segments—that makes these broadcasts possible.
